Enerpac was presented with Grainger's
prestigious Partners in Performance Award for 2006 at Grainger's
annual supplier conference held March 14, 2007 in Rosemont, Ill.
Grainger, a leading broad line supplier of facilities maintenance
products serving businesses and institutions throughout North America,
presents the award annually to a select group of suppliers for
outstanding performance throughout the year. This is the second
consecutive year Enerpac has won this award.
Grainger's Partners in Performance Award recognizes suppliers who
achieve excellence in several categories, including responsiveness,
information integrity, cost control, on time shipping, management
commitment and order fulfillment. Grainger suppliers receive ratings
throughout the year for their performance in each of these categories.
Approximately 2 percent of Grainger's 1,200 suppliers receive this award
each year.
Commenting on the award, George Bowman, President of Enerpac stated, ?We've
used our LEAD process (Lean Enterprise Across Disciplines) to improve
our order to shipment process, and this award is a good example of
measured results from this initiative. To receive this recognition two
consecutive years from a high profile customer like Grainger is a
tremendous achievement for Enerpac.?
"Grainger is proud to present Enerpac with the 2006 Partners in
Performance Award," said Bob Cocks, Grainger's
Vice President of Merchandising. "Grainger is entirely focused on
serving its customers by helping them save time and money procuring
supplies to maintain their facilities. We can achieve these goals only
with supplier partners who share this same intensity. Enerpac is one of
those partners and we are proud to honor Enerpac's
commitment to the highest standards of performance. We look forward to
working together to enhance the service we provide customers and drive
profitable growth for both companies."
