Amsterdam, 1 July 2008 --- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V.
("AMG", EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG") announced that its Engineering
Systems Division has entered into a supply agreement for its market
leading solar silicon melting and crystallisation furnace systems.
Under this agreement, AMG has received the first purchase order,
which is valued in excess of $90 million. "This contract with a
long-term customer is the largest order in the Engineering Systems
Division's history. We continue to focus on providing high-end
products to leading producers in the rapidly growing solar industry",

Graphit Kropfmühl AG is a majority controlled, publicly listed
