Gerard Schut occupies the position of Vice President-European Operations at Vermilion Energy, Inc. and Chairman of Vermilion REP SAS and Chairman at Vermilion Moraine SASU (both are subsidiaries of Vermilion Energy, Inc.).

He previously occupied the position of General Manager-E&P Business at Chevron Canada Ltd.

He received a graduate degree from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from Brunel Business School.
