Founder of Northern Development Initiative Trust, Janine North is on the board of Mercer International, Inc., Imperial Metals Corp. and Conifex Timber, Inc. and Member of Institute of Corporate Directors.

In her past career she occupied the position of Chairman of Nechako-Kitimat Development Fund, Chief Executive Officer of Northern Development Initiative Trust and Vice President of Agri-Food Innovation Council.

Janine North received an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
