He is also on the board of Yamana Gold, Inc., Greenstone Gold Mines GP, Inc., i-80 Gold Corp. and Paycore Minerals, Inc. and Member of National Association of Corporate Directors and Member of Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mr. Begeman previously occupied the position of Chief Operating Officer for Zinifex Canada, Inc., Executive Chairman for Premier Gold Mines Ltd., President & Chief Executive Officer at Avion Resources Corp., President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Avion Gold Corp., Chief Operating Officer for Zinifex Canadian Enterprises, Inc. and Vice President-Western Operations at Goldcorp, Inc.

John A. Begeman received a graduate degree and an undergraduate degree from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and an MBA from the University of South Dakota.
