Presently, Mika Henrikki Joukio occupies the position of Chairman of Husum Pulp AB and Chief Executive Officer of Metsä Board Oyj, Chairman-Supervisory Board for Metsä Board Sverige AB (a subsidiary of Metsä Board Oyj).

He is also on the board of Metsä Fibre Oy.

He previously was Vice President & Mill Manager at M-real Kyro & M-real Tako and Chief Executive Officer of Metsä Tissue Oyj.
