Olivier Andriès est actuellement directeur général du Groupe Safran depuis le 1er Janvier 2021.
Olivier Andriès est un ingénieur diplômé de l'Ecole Polytechnique et de l'Ecole des Mines. Il commence sa carrière professionnelle dans la fonction publique en 1990 à la Direction du Trésor, au Ministère des Finances, où il va suivre les grandes entreprises publiques du secteur aéronautique et défense.
En 1993, il rejoint le Cabinet du Ministre de l'Economie et des Finances, M. Edmond Alphandéry, en tant que Conseiller industriel.
1995 marque son entrée dans le Groupe Lagardère en tant que Directeur Adjoint de la Stratégie, où il pilotera différents projets d'acquisition et de fusion, contribuant aux opérations de consolidation d'activités au niveau européen dans le domaine de la défense et de l'espace. En 1998, il devient Conseiller spécial auprès de Jean-Luc Lagardère.
Olivier Andriès rejoint Airbus en 2000, où il va notamment occuper le poste de directeur des programmes long-courriers d'Airbus (A330/A340), avant d'entrer en 2005 au comité exécutif en tant que directeur de la Stratégie. A ce titre, il porte le projet A350 XWB jusqu'à la décision de lancement du programme.
Olivier Andriès intègre le groupe Safran en 2008 en tant que Directeur général adjoint, en charge de la Stratégie et du Développement du Groupe. Il est ensuite nommé en 2009 Directeur Général-Adjoint en charge de la Défense et de la Sécurité, et membre du Directoire de Safran.
En 2011, Olivier Andriès prend la présidence de Turbomeca, (devenu Safran Helicopter Engines), où il mènera en quatre ans une profonde transformation de l'entreprise autour des axes stratégiques suivants : diversification du portefeuille clients, développement et renouvellement de la gamme de produits, démarche de compétitivité autour de l'usine du futur.
En 2015, il devient Président de Safran Aircraft Engines et mène la transition entre le moteur CFM56 et le moteur de nouvelle génération LEAP en pilotant une montée en cadence inédite pour porter la production à 2000 moteurs par an.
En 2019, il est choisi pour succéder à Philippe Petitcolin à la tête du groupe Safran en tant que directeur général dont il occupe les fonctions depuis le 1er Janvier 2021.
