Philippe Joubert founded The Green Option SAS. Presently, he holds the position of Executive Chairman of Global Electricity Initiative and Chairman of The Green Option SAS. Mr. Joubert is also on the board of Voltalia and ClientEarth and Executive Chairman-Global Electricity Initiative at World Energy Council.

Mr. Joubert previously held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Alstom SA and President for GE Steam Power, Inc (a subsidiary of Alstom SA).

Mr. Joubert received an undergraduate degree from ESSEC Business School.
