He is also Member of International Council of Shopping Centers, Inc., Member of The Urban Land Institute, Member of Pension Real Estate Association, Member of World Presidents' Organization, Member of Chief Executives Organization, Inc. and Member of Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate and on the board of 6 other companies.

In the past he was Chief Executive Officer at GE Capital Investment Advisors.

Mr. MacFarlane received an undergraduate degree from The University of New Mexico, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, a graduate degree from UCLA School of Law and a graduate degree from the University of the District of Columbia.
