German industrial conglomerate Siemens has received two orders for a total of nine gas turbines from Argentina.

The deal's amount was not specified.

In detail, the group specifies that first of all the order concerns seven industrial gas turbines (model SGT-800), which will enable Siemens to exceed 300 orders of this model. The principal is the Argentinean energy company Albanesi, for its power stations in Rio Cuarto, San Miguel de Tucuman, and Ezeiza.

All of this equipment will facilitate the development of a cumulative electricity production capacity of approximately 500 megawatts (MW).
