Dr. Jean Qiu joined Ampersand as an Executive Advisor in 2022 and has over 25 years of experience in the life science tools space.
Jean is the Founder of Ampersand portfolio company Nexcelom Bioscience, a developer and marketer of image cytometry products for cellular analysis.
She served as CTO of Nexcelom for over 10 years until its sale to PerkinElmer in 2021, where she served as the Vice President of Research and Development.
Prior to Nexcelom, Jean held leadership positions at SRU Biosystems and 3M.
