Prior to this, he was a technology sector analyst at New York based hedge funds Brahman Capital and Simcoe Capital.
He has also worked as a strategy consultant for Bain & Company where he worked on cases in the technology and private equity industries.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a derivatives strategist for the prop desk at Barclays Capital and as an integrated circuit design engineer at Linear Technology in Silicon Valley.
He earned a BS and MEng in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA in management and finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
