Mr. Everhart joined Baird Investment Management in February of 2006 as a Senior Research Analyst.
Prior to joining BIM, Mr. Everhart spent over nine years as a securities analyst and portfolio manager at RiverSource Investments, LLC.
Mr. Everhart joined American Express Financial Corporation in 1996 as a convertible securities analyst.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a convertible securities analyst with Invista Capital Management, a division of The Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA.
Prior to his investing career, he was a Captain in the US Army.
In 1998, he began managing the convertible portion of many fixed income accounts under the direction of the Head of Fixed Income.
In 2001, he was promoted to Associate Portfolio Manager of the AXP Bond Fund, a $3.5 billion diversified fixed income mutual fund.
Mr. Everhart founded the American Express Convertible Bonds Fund, an offshore mutual fund, in April of 2002 and Advisory Convertible Arbitrage LLC, a hedge fund, in July 2002.
Mr. Everhart earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, as well as an MBA from the University of Iowa.
