He produces forward-thinking original research and advise the firm’s clients on topical issues in quantitative investing across Acadian’s full suite of equity and multi-asset strategies.
He has over 15 years of experience in quantitative research, portfolio management, and solutions development.
Dr. Simonian joined Acadian from Natixis Investment Managers, where he was Director of Quantitative Research and led thought leadership initiatives for the Portfolio Research and Consulting Group.
He was also previously employed as a Vice President by JPMorgan Investment Management, Inc. and Pacific Investment Management Co. LLC, and a Principal by Lehman Brothers, Inc.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University and a PhD in Mathematical Logic from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
