Robert has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on Financial Technology, Alternative Trading Systems, Risk Management, and Brokerage Operations across listed equities and options.
Most recently, Robert joined Wells Fargo Securities as the Director of Prime Services.
Prior to Wells Fargo, Robert was the CEO of Victor Holdings, the operator of Victor Securities, a prime broker for the middle-tier hedge fund community, as well as Victor Technologies, a software vendor focused on risk management solutions for the buy and sell-side communities.
Prior to Victor, Robert founded and led Ballista Securities – the first Alternative Trading System for US listed options and volatility trading, acquired by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in 2010.
Robert has held leadership positions within multiple financial technology firms including TORC Financial (acquired by Instinet), as well as Orbit Partners, a US listed options marketmaking firm.
Robert began his career as an early employee at Island ECN, one of the first platforms to offer transparent electronic access to the US equity markets.
