Description de l'Activité: Camellia Plc

Camellia Plc est la société mère ultime d’un groupe d’entreprises agricoles constituées dans différentes juridictions à travers le monde, tout en détenant et en exploitant d’autres actifs en dehors du secteur agricole. Ses principales activités s’articulent autour de ses sociétés d’exploitation principales : au Bangladesh, en Inde, au Kenya, à Kakuzi, au Malawi, en Afrique du Sud, en Tanzanie et au Brésil. Ces sociétés d'exploitation, qui disposent d'activités bien établies et à l'échelle industrielle, possèdent et gèrent collectivement environ 50 000 hectares de terres en production dans sept pays. Elles se concentrent sur la culture du thé, de l'avocat, de la noix de macadamia et des cultures arables. Parmi ses filiales figurent Eastern Produce Malawi, qui produit du thé et des noix de macadamia et exploite cinq plantations de macadamia ainsi qu’une installation de décorticage, et Eastern Produce Kenya, qui se consacre à la production de thé ainsi qu’à des activités dans les domaines des cultures arables, de l’élevage, de la sylviculture et du caoutchouc. Ses autres activités comprennent AJT Engineering, un prestataire de services d’ingénierie spécialisés, Jing Tea, une marque de thé, et EP Cape.
