Mr. Christopher J.
Felton, CFA MBA, is an Executive Managing Director of Global Liquid Markets at Liberty Mutual Group Asset Management, Inc. (LMI).
He is responsible for the management of $72 billion in assets spanning interest rate products, credit instruments, structured products and equities.
In his role, he seeks to optimize returns and risk-taking in the GLM portfolio to deliver measurable outcomes that enhance enterprise value, while supporting Liberty Mutual’s broader strategic objectives.
Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Felton held multiple roles at LMI across the portfolio management, credit research and trading functions over his 25+ year career.
He brings decades of experience across a broad set of asset classes in both public and private fixed income, including his two most recent roles as the Co-head of Global Fixed Income and Head of Credit at LMI.
Throughout his career, Mr. Felton has held a variety of leadership roles at LMI and has served on the internal investment committee and as a member of the LMI executive team since 2014.
Mr. Felton was previously employed as a Senior Vice President & Manager-Global Public Markets by Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of UMass-Lowell and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
He earned his CFA designation in 2003.
