Jacques Aschenbroich

Né à Lyon en 1954, Jacques Aschenbroich est Président du Conseil d’administration d’Orange. Il a été Directeur général du Groupe Valeo de mars 2009 à février 2016, Président-Directeur général jusqu’à janvier 2022 puis Président du Conseil d’administration de Valeo jusqu'au 31 décembre 2022. Il a une expérience diversifiée, acquise dans des postes de direction de grands groupes industriels, en France et à l’étranger, et dans la haute fonction publique. Avant de rejoindre Valeo, cet ingénieur diplômé du Corps des mines, a exercé plusieurs fonctions dans l’administration et a été au cabinet du Premier ministre en 1987 et 1988. Il a ensuite mené une carrière industrielle au sein du groupe Saint-Gobain de 1988 à 2008. Après avoir dirigé les filiales au Brésil et en Allemagne, il a pris la Direction de la Branche Vitrage de la Compagnie de Saint-Gobain et la présidence de Saint-Gobain Vitrage en 1996. Puis, aux fonctions de Directeur général adjoint de la Compagnie de Saint-Gobain d’octobre 2001 à décembre 2008, il a en particulier dirigé les Pôles Vitrage et Matériaux haute performance à partir de janvier 2007, et dirigé les opérations du Groupe aux États-Unis en tant que Directeur de Saint-Gobain Corporation et Délégué général pour les États-Unis et le Canada à partir du 1er septembre 2007. Jacques Aschenbroich est anciennement administrateur de Veolia Environnement et il siège actuellement au conseil d’administration de BNP Paribas et de TotalEnergies. Jacques Aschenbroich est également Président du conseil d’administration de l’Ecole des Mines de Paris et co-Président du Club d’affaires franco-japonais.
