Mr. Joseph D.
Boushelle is a Senior Managing Director of Alternatives at Clearstead Advisors, LLC.
He is responsible for managing Clearstead’s alternative investments platform.
His responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring alternative strategies, including hedge funds, real assets, private equity, and private credit.
He works closely with clients and consultants to develop and implement alternative investment programs that meet their various needs.
In addition to his work with alternatives, He plays an integral role in overseeing the firm’s asset allocation framework.
He is a voting member of both the firm’s Investment Research Committee and Asset Allocation Committee.
Mr. Boushelle has over 15 years of experience in the investment management business.
Prior to joining Clearstead in 2012, he covered the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors as an analyst at the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
He has also worked as a research analyst covering the credit and equity markets in various roles at JPMorgan and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
He is a CFA charter holder and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
He has an MBA with Distinction from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management and received a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
