Leon Shadowen is currently the Director at Downtown Austin Alliance (Texas), the Director at Virginia Supportive Housing, and the Director at Urban Land Institute Austin.

In his former positions, he was the Director at The Urban Land Institute and the President-Real Estate Circle of Excellence at Virginia Commonwealth University.
He started his career as a Project Partner at Childress Klein Properties, Inc. He holds a graduate degree from New York University and undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kentucky.
