Currently, Kamini Rao holds the position of Medical Director-Milann at HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd.

In the past Dr. Rao occupied the position of President for Federation of Obstetric & Gynaecological Societies of India.

She received a graduate degree from The University of Liverpool and an undergraduate degree from the University of Bangalore.
