Presently, Wong Shui Chan holds the position of Chairman for Insurance Complaints Bureau. Dr. Chan is also on the board of MTR Corp. Ltd., The Boys & Girls Clubs Association of Hong Kong and Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong.

In her past career she occupied the position of Chairman for Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board, Member of Hong Kong Housing Authority, Member of Estate Agents Authority, Member of Law Reform Commission of Hongkong, Member of Private Columbaria Appeal Board, Member of Hospital Authority (Hong Kong) and Deputy Chairman-Council at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Wong Shui Chan received an undergraduate degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a graduate degree from Peking University.
