Métier

Swedbank AB est un groupe bancaire organisé autour de 3 pôles d'activités :

- banque de détail (81,4% des revenus) : activité assurée notamment en Suède (71,5% des revenus) et aux Pays Baltes (28,5% ; Estonie, Lettonie et Lituanie) ;

- banque d'investissement, de financement et de marché (15,8%) : interventions sur les marchés actions, de taux et de change, financements de grandes entreprises et spécialisés (de projets, d'acquisitions, etc.), intermédiation boursière, etc. En outre, le groupe développe des activités de gestion d'actifs et d'assurance ;

- autres (2,8%).

A fin 2022, le groupe gère 1 305,9 MdsSEK d'encours de dépôts et 1 842,8 MdsSEK d'encours de crédits.

La commercialisation des produits et services bancaires est réalisée au travers d'un réseau de 400 agences implantées essentiellement en Suède (145) et aux Pays Baltes (86).

La répartition géographique des revenus (avant éliminations intragroupe) est la suivante : Suède (73,5%), Estonie (8,9%), Lituanie (7,9%), Lettonie (5,1%), Norvège (2,9%), Etats-Unis (0,3%) et autres (1,4%).

The company operates into four segments: Retail accounts, Discretionary accounts, Pension accounts and Insurance accounts. The Discretionary accounts segment manages investment funds on the behalf of private individuals, governments, corporations, universities, institutions and labour unions. The Pension accounts segment which offers stock and equity funds are marketed and offered as part of tax-deferred retirement programs. The Insurance accounts segment manages the assets of more then 900,000 unit-linked insurance policies, whose assets are invested in a range of funds. The company was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
