Habib is a Managing Director at Spinnaker Capital Ltd. He is a founding principal of Spinnaker Capital, and CEO of Spinnaker Capital Limited.
He chairs the Global Investment Committee and is directly responsible for the management of the Spinnaker Global Emerging Markets Fund.
Mr. Habib was a founder of the Emerging Markets division of Credit Agricole Indosuez (CAI) in 1991, where he was managing director in charge of all trading activities from 1991-1999.
Prior to joining CAI, he worked in the investment banking division of Citibank in New York, where he was the head Emerging Markets trader.
He has also worked for Marine Midland Bank in New York and Paris, and for Unibanco in Brazil.
He is a board member of Endeavor Lebanon, a board member of INSEAD and chair of the INSEAD Endowment Investment Committee.
He has served on several other boards and advisory committees, including the Emerging Markets Trade Association and the Center for International Studies at MIT.
He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Sorbonne University, Paris, and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
