Mr. Ali M.
Almufti, CFA, is a Managing Director of Systematic Equities at BlackRock Fund Advisors.
He leads private investment strategies.
He has been conducting research on the use of quantitative techniques in private market investment opportunities for over a decade.
He is a portfolio manager in BlackRock’s Systematic Equities team within BlackRock Systematic, and is a member of the BlackRock Growth Equity investment team.

Prior to joining BGI, Mr. Almufti served as a senior hedge fund accountant at CITCO.
Mr. Almufti earned a BA degree in economics from the University of California at San Diego in 2004.
