Prior to joining Quaker Capital, Mr. Raymond graduated summa cum laude with a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2000, received a J.D.
from Harvard Law School in 2003, and completed his studies in the Master of Science in Computational Finance (MSCF) program at Carnegie Mellon University in December, 2007.
After graduation from Harvard Law School, he was admitted to the Illinois Bar, and practiced Intellectual Property law first at Jenner & Block, LLP, and subsequently Marshall, Gerstein & Borun, LLP, both of Chicago, Illinois.
He enrolled at Carnegie Mellon in August, 2006, and interned with the investment team of Quaker Capital Management during the summer of 2007.
In June 2007, he passed the Level I CFA certification exam.
He is a native of Pittsburgh, and enjoys sports, cuisine, and reading.
