Third-party managers and Portfolio Model Providers can be used to provide exposure to a variety of asset classes and styles including taxable and tax-free fixed income, domestic equity across styles and capitalizations, and international equity. If a client selects a Portfolio Model Provider, that Portfolio Model Provider will continuously provide its investment recommendations to SAAM. However, SAAM retains investment discretion and will ultimately decide whether or not to accept a Portfolio Model Provider’s investment recommendations. Sterne Select APM is a discretionary investment platform that provides flexibility to enable advisors to develop portfolio solutions that meet their clients’ objectives. APM portfolios under the oversight of SAAM can include individual securities such as stocks and bonds, as well as mutual funds and ETFs.
