Archie focuses on early-stage companies using novel physics, data science, and security techniques to create advantaged products and open-up new markets.
Archie sits on several boards including Synthesized, Secretarium, Worldr and Apperio, and works closely with Foundries.io, TurinTech, and CybSafe.
Prior to IQ Capital, Archie was a technical researcher at CognitionX, covering applications of machine learning/NLP in adtech, finance and healthcare, producing reports and testing environments for large enterprises and government bodies.
Before that he was a Venture Developer at Rocket Internet, working with the COO of fast-growing travel marketplace in S.E.
Asia in the run up to acquisition.
Archie read Physics and Philosophy at the University of Bristol, graduating at the top of his cohort.
His studies focused on Quantum Mechanics and its varying interpretations.
While at Bristol, Archie co-founded ODO, an events business running music nights for up to 2,500 people in venues across the city.
