Mr. William Rechter, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at Lynx Capital Group Ltd. Mr. Rechter has been in the investments business for nearly 50 years.
He began his career as a Securities Analyst at the Value Line Investment Survey covering several industries, including Financial Services, Construction, Real Estate and Energy.
Several years later, he became an analyst at Lehman Brothers covering the Energy Industry.
In 1980, Mr. Rechter joined Sperry Capital Management as President and Senior Portfolio Manager.
Following Sperry’s merger with Burroughs in the mid-1980s, he joined Cowen Asset Management as a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager.
In 1998, Cowen was acquired by Societe Generale, a French bank and after several years with them, he took a new position as the Chief Investment Officer of Hillview Capital Advisors.
Finally, in 2005, he joined Fred Alger Management as a Senior Vice President and member of the Portfolio Management team.
Mr. Rechter also holds a BBA from the University of Massachusetts and a MBA from NYU.
