Prior to joining Beutel Goodman in 1986, Mr. Ashby worked at the Pension Fund Investment Division of Confederation Life Insurance Company.
Formerly the President of the Investment Counsel Association of Canada, he is currently a member of the Association.

Mr. Ashby is a graduate of Sir George Williams University and is a CFA charterholder.
