Mr. Daniel Berkery, CFA, is a Corporate Credit Analyst at Virtus Fixed Income Advisers LLC and an Executive Vice President at Stone Harbor Worldwide Corporate Income Fund.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Berkery was a Portfolio Manager and Global Credit Analyst as part of the Multi-Asset Credit Team at Stone Harbor Investment Partners, a division of VFIA. He continues to have credit analyst responsibilities for Stone Harbor branded accounts under both the Newfleet and Stone Harbor divisions of VFIA. Before joining Stone Harbor, Mr. Berkery served as an Executive Director and Portfolio Manager for the Convertible Bond Securities Fund at UBS O’Connor while managing small mid-cap long/short equity portfolios.
Earlier in his career, he served as a Director and Portfolio Manager for convertible funds at Salomon Brothers Asset Management, and also held the role of an Equity Analyst responsible for covering technology, telecommunications, and media.
Mr. Berkery earned an A.B. in American history from Harvard University.
