Mr. Daniel Portocarrero is Administrative Assistant at SOL Capital Management Co. He is responsible for the reception and administrative portion of the front office which includes all front desk activities, ordering and maintaining office supplies, maintaining research files and assisting other departments with special projects.
Mr. Portocarrero is the liaison with building services, the postal service and other delivery providers and assures a high level of customer service throughout his activities.
Prior to joining SOL in May 2011, Mr. Portocarrero worked as a government contractor for several years.
He served the Department of Health and Human Services – Indian Health Service Scholarship Program as a Program Assistant and had two contracts with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as an Administrative Assistant/HR File Room Clerk and Telecommunications Wireless Service Analyst.
Mr. Portocarrero holds an AA degree from Montgomery College, Rockville, MD and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from the University of Maryland, University College.
