Prior to joining Avondale in 2009, Mr. Turner was a senior equity analyst at BB&T in McLean, Va., for seven years, where he covered 13 publicly-traded companies in the apparel and footwear industries.
Mr. Turner joined BB&T in October 2001.
He followed the apparel, footwear, and specialty retail sectors with Ferris Baker Watts before joining BB&T firm.
Mr. Turner also worked at McLean, Virginia-based valuation consulting firm Willamette Management Associates.
Mr. Turner has a BS in business administration from Towson University and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Baltimore.
