David is a Principal in H.I.G.
Capital's Miami office.
He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing and executing post-closing growth, operational and add-on acquisition strategies.
David currently serves on the board of directors of several H.I.G.
portfolio companies.
He has over a decade of experience in private equity and M&A. Prior to joining H.I.G., David focused on technology investments at The Rubicon Project, a publicly traded company, after serving as an Associate Director at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners and a Vice President at Relativity Capital where he gained experience across a number of industries including aerospace, business services and consumer products.
He began his career as an Analyst in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston.
David earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating as a Palmer Scholar, and earned a B.S.
in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with honors.
