Mr. Chin is a principal of PTI Ventures.
He has been in the venture capital field for more than five years and has conducted due diligence on numerous companies involved in software, Internet, computer system peripherals, and ASIC design-related fields.
Before joining PTI, Mr. Chin served as manager of MiTAC between 1995 and 1997, leading the organization's R&D efforts in hardware platform design, operations system porting, application software design, and product definition.
Mr. Chin is currently a doctoral candidate in electrical engineering at National Taiwan University, focusing his research on data compression, parallel computing, and fault tolerance.
