Mr. Eric Marx is a Head Trader at Impala Asset Management LLC.
Prior to joining Impala in 2006, Mr. Marx was Head of Foreign Equities Trading for Soros Fund Management from 1998-2006, where he traded all Asian, European and Latin American equities.
From 2002-2003, Mr. Marx ran Soros’ European Equity trading and operations from London, England.
In 2003, he transferred to New York joining Soros’ macro trading desk where he helped run foreign exchange, fixed income and derivatives trading for the fund.
From 1992-1998, Mr. Marx worked as a consultant to the U.S.
Department of Defense, the German Ministry of Defense and several other Western European governments to coordinate trans-Atlantic defense and aid projects.
Mr. Marx received a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University.
