Mr. Morgan was a founding member of Midwest Research and served as its Chairman and CEO prior to its acquisition by First Tennessee Bank.
During his tenure, FTN Midwest and Midwest Research were repeatedly named Best of the Boutiques and Regionals by Institutional Investor Magazine.
Midwest Research grew from a 12-person specialty research boutique to a regional firm with close to 200 employees across the country and approaching $100 million in revenues from various lines of business.
Mr. Morgan earned an AB in Economics and History from Columbia University and earned his MBA from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management in 1994.
