Rousch (Pakistan) Power Ltd.
Rousch (Pakistan) Power Ltd. The private company is based in Lahore, Pakistan. The Pakistani company operates a 450 MW combined cycle power plant near Sidhnai Barrage, Abdul Hakim, District Khanewal, Punjab. The plant was initially fueled by residual furnace oil and converted to natural gas in 2004, increasing its capacity. It uses Siemens V.94.2 gas turbines and a steam turbine in a 2+1 combined cycle configuration, designed for base load operation primarily on RLNG fuel, with diesel as backup. Siemens AG Germany performed lifetime extension and control system upgrades on the turbines in 2012. The project was developed by multinational sponsors and financed by international lenders. Other shareholders include Siemens Project Ventures GmbH, Electricity Supply Board International, National Bank of Pakistan, and A. Latif Galadari legal heirs. The company implements certified management systems compliant with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards, and follows safe work practices, proper training, and environmental protection within government emission limits. Rousch (Pakistan) Power Ltd. was founded in 1995. In 2006, Power Management Company Limited (PMCL), a subsidiary of Altern Energy Limited, acquired majority ownership. | |
