Venture Investments & Yield Management
Venture Investments & Yield Management Investment ManagersFinance VIYM is a hands-on, opportunistic manager which primarily focuses on commercial and residential real estate as well as cash-generating businesses in consumer-driven goods and services. To provide stable returns and value-added upside potential, they vary investments from the growth capital markets of small and mid-caps to secure real estate investments. Their geographic focus is on properties in the developed economies of Greater Europe and the emerging markets of Russia and other former Soviet Union countries. The firm seeks to identify fast-growing companies with strong and progressive management teams to activate their market leadership potential and generate competitive long-term returns, sourcing projects with US$ 5-15 million equity capital needs and typically taking a 25%+1 to 50% shareholding and a seat on the investee company board of directors. They prefer to be the lead investor and actively participate in strategic decision-making. VIYM aims to enhance investee company performance by bringing best management practices to the company, assisting and supporting management and financial reporting structures, supporting development of project-orientated remuneration and motivation schemes for the company''s management and key personnel, implementing internationally acceptable internal controls and financial reporting systems and establishing business connections with other cluster members and companies. The firm looks for a solid divestment strategy within a 3-7 year period. Their exit strategy of choice is sale to a long-term orientated investor. IPOs are also a viable option. | Directeur/Membre du Conseil | 20/10/2010 |
