Cobb, M.S.
is a finance professional with over thirty years of experience in senior financial positions in the biotechnology, consumer product and pharmaceutical industries.
At Emisphere Technologies, Inc. Mr. Cobb served as Principal Financial Officer where he was responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting and SEC reporting.
Prior to that Mr. Cobb served as Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of MetaMorphix, Inc. a private biotechnology company where he successfully assisted in establishing and managing a start-up research operation by securing financing, and developing and implementing business plans.
Mr. Cobb has also served as a consultant to Insight Consulting Group where he provided integrated information solutions and project management in finance and accounting.
Mr. Cobb served as Vice President/Corporate Controller for Smith Corona Corporation with a role that encompassed all facets of accounting and financial (SEC) reporting.
Mr. Cobb spent seven years as the Corporate Controller and later as the General Manager and Executive Officer at BIC Corporation where he was in charge of SEC reporting functions, IT, HR, sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, and engineering.
At Bristol-Myers Squibb Company for 12 years, Mr. Cobb served in several senior financial positions where he was responsible for financial reporting, costing, budgeting, planning, analysis, policies and procedures across several pharmaceutical divisions.
Mr. Cobb received his M.S.
in Accounting from Seton Hall University in 1997 and a B.S.
in Business Management from Cornell University.
