Mr. Youssef joined the firm in 1987 as a fixed income portfolio manager and chief economist.
As a member of the fixed income team, he contributes to the development of the portfolios' primary strategies in regard to term to maturity management and sector allocation.
He has direct responsibility for credit analysis and the identification of opportunities in the corporate bond sector.
Mr. Youssef was appointed President in 1997, and plays an important role in the strategic direction of the company.
A lengthy career in the financial industry began at the Royal Bank of Canada in 1967.
He held positions of increasing responsibility in Toronto, New York and London, England over an 18-year career, latterly Vice-President - Capital Markets.
Prior to joining Lincluden he held the position of Senior V.P., Fixed Income at Merrill Lynch Canada in Vancouver.

They are a domestic fixed-income manager but there are times when the Canadian market, or sectors within this market, are relatively over-priced, leading to the establishment of positions in foreign markets.
