Prior to joining DBBCA in January 2009, Mr. Broetz worked in the corporate finance and transaction services teams at KPMG.
He worked on numerous large transactions for private equity houses in numerous industry sectors (chemicals, industrial gases, business services - wholesale and retail, cable service providers), including working on one of the largest leveraged buyouts ever in Germany.
While at KPMG, Mr. Broetz was seconded to a large private equity investor to assist in deal flow, investment management and investment execution.
Mr. Broetz attended primary and secondary schools in Karachi, Pakistan and Jakarta, Indonesia respectively, received a Bachelor of Arts with honours from the European Business School, a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Warwick and a Diploma in corporate valuations from INSEAD and the Amsterdam Institute of Finance.
