Mr. Ian A. Carstairs is a Fund Manager at Invesco Asset Management Ltd. Prior to joining Invesco, Mr. Carstairs worked for three years at Mercury Asset Management as a senior investment manager, focusing on UK balanced pension funds.
He also held fund management positions at J Rothschild and Sun Life Assurance Limited, having started his investment career in 1976.
He joined Invesco Perpetual in 1992 as a UK fund manager and became head of the UK investment team in 1994, where he had specific responsibility for the management of balanced pension funds.
In the UK product range Ian now has specific responsibility for UK recovery products.
Mr. Carstairs has an MA in Mathematics from St. John's College, Cambridge University.
