Mr. Fleischer is an analyst in the diversified industrials research group, where he specializes in the capital goods sector.
He applies a value-based investment discipline, focused on free cash flow and ROIC, across companies in this sector.
Mr. Fleischer brings nine years of investment experience to the group.
He joined FBR four years ago, spending two years as an analyst in the growth-based technology research group.
In this role, he focused on technology and telecommunications companies, which included research coverage of large-cap tech companies America Online and IBM.
Mr. Fleischer has also analyzed alternative investments in high-yield debt and equity special situations across a number of industries.
Prior to joining FBR, he was employed as a regional sales supervisor and registered representative at a securities brokerage firm.
Mr. Fleischer received his B.A. in economics and business from the University of Pittsburgh (cum laude and honors in economics), and has received the CFA designation.
