After retiring from UUNET Technologies, Inc. in 1997, Mr. Osborn co-founded Osborn Capital LLC in 1998.
He has been involved in the networking business and the Internet since 1983.
He was employed by UUNET Technologies, Inc., the world's largest Internet Service Provider, from 1993 to 1997 in roles including Director of Sales and Marketing, VP Sales, VP Sales and Systems Engineering, VP Sales and Service, and VP International Sales.
Annual revenues in this period grew from $8 million to $600 million, and market capitalization from $30 million to nearly $3 billion.
Prior to UUNET, he held roles as VP Sales at InterCon Systems, a networking software company since acquired by Ascend; President of Wilder Systems, a software startup whose core product was acquired by Symantec; and Director of Sales at Cayman Systems, maker of TCP/IP routers.
He earlier served in a variety of roles in the networking business including Systems Analyst, Sales Engineer and a variety of sales roles.
Mr. Osborn received his B.A. in Economics from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut in 1982.
