Jefferson Chen serves as a partner of Jinshajiang Venture Capital Fund and is mainly responsible for the company’s investments in the Internet, artificial intelligence, financial technology and corporate services.
Before joining GSR Ventures, Chen Lanjie was the head of private equity investment business and fund manager in Greater China at Farallon Capital (the world's leading hedge fund with a management scale of over US$20 billion).
Previously, he worked in the investment banking department of Goldman Sachs and participated in the listing and mergers and acquisitions of many high-tech companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Chen Lanjie is an angel investor in many successful Internet and software companies in China and the United States.
He is also the co-founder of the Chinese Entrepreneur Organization (“CEO”), the largest Chinese entrepreneurial association at Stanford University.
Chen Lanjie is also the co-founder and CEO of the artificial intelligence company ADVANCE.AI.
Chen Lanjie holds an undergraduate degree in computer software from Tsinghua University and an MBA from Stanford University.
