Prior to becoming a Credit Analyst with CreditSights, Mr. Poehling started his career on the distressed desk at EBF & Associates, a hedge fund, where he focused on industrial names and utilized various capital structure strategies.
He left EBF to pursue his MBA at the University of Wisconsin’s Applied Security Analysis Program (MBA 2008) where he oversaw the automotive sector and served as the co-portfolio manager for the intermediate aggregate fixed income portfolio.
Mr. Poehling holds Bachelors of Business Administration degrees in Risk Management and Finance from the University of Wisconsin (BBA 2003).
