Mr. Peters, who has been involved with investment research and management since 1986, joined GRT Capital Partners, L.L.C.
in 2003.
Mr. Peters started his career at State Street Research as an analyst in June 1986, was named a vice-president in 1989, and a senior vice-president in 1993.
During his tenure there, Mr. Peters managed a variety of mutual funds and institutional fixed-income products with combined assets of more than $3 billion, and was a member of the firm’s Bond Policy Committee.
He also created and managed State Street Research’s corporate research team, overseeing five analysts and a trader.
Mr. Peters holds a BA, cum laude, from Clark University (’76) where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and MS and MBA degrees from the University of Wisconsin (’84,’85) where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma.
Mr. Peters is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
