Lei Liang joined Sinovation in October 2019 as a Partner.
From January 2015 through October 2018, Lei was the founder and CEO of United Entertainment Corporation, a leading record label in China music industry.
Mr. Liang was also a first round investor and past board member of Tencent Music Entertainment, a New York listed company valued around USD25 billion.
Previously he was Vice President at New Horizon Capital, one of the leading private equity houses between 2009 to 2011, executed investments covering a wide range of industries including manufacturing, infrastructure, retail and TMT.
Lei Liang was a lawyer and investment banker in Hong Kong in his early career, before becoming a successful entrepreneur and investor.
Lei holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Laws and in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and an EMBA in Finance from Tsinghua PBCSF.
He is also a China fellow in the Aspen Institute Fellowship.
