Luis Angel is a technology executive with deep knowledge of the digital healthcare space.
He is one of the LongeVC Advisory Board members.
For almost 20 years, Luis has successfully led global teams to develop consumer innovations in health information technology.
Luis started his career as a Director of End-to-End Solutions at DeRemate.com, an e-commerce and online auction company.
He also led several consumer innovation teams at Novartis, starting as their Head of Marketing Effectiveness and later becoming Head of Commercial Innovation.
In 2013, Luis founded GetMyRx, a company that alerts patients when new prescriptions are written and allows them to schedule a pick-up.
In 2016, Luis joined DrFirst as President of the Consumer Solutions Division.
He is focused on building innovative solutions that empower patients to become active members of their care team along with the ability to control their own, or their loved ones', healthcare information.
Luis holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from INSEAD.
He has followed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
